I developed an interest in web development in the early 2000′^s. Back then Jules & I were photographers with a studio in Sonoma CA. We shot film and bought expensive full page ads in the local newspaper & phone book. We ran a successful photography business in a rapidly evolving technological environment. Everything was going digital, we had to adapt & learn new skills. I bought my first digital camera, computer, scanners & digital printer in 1997, investing heavily in this new technology.

Over time my darkroom was replaced by the desktop. Film was being replaced by digital & people began seeking services online instead of using the phone book. I realized that I had to have an attractive website and I needed it to appear in search results. That is when I decided to learn everything I could about web design, website development & search engine optimization (SEO).
